"If you do not love The Carvels NYC, you do not love rock n roll"
(Rich Quinlan, Jersey Beat)
The Carvels NYC were formed by singer/songwriter Lynne Von Pang (Da Willys, Trick Babys) and guitarist Brian Morgan (Disruptors). With a unique garage punk-meets-girl group sound and lots of sticky original tunes, the band is rounded out by drummer Steve Pang, bassist/vocalist RB Korbet (King Misslle, Missing Foundation, Even Worse), and saxophonist Trevor Galvin.
The Carvels NYC have been releasing an EP per year since 2016, with rave reviews from garage punk/power pop fans worldwide. Tunes like "You Make Me Wanna Be Alone" and "Everything With You is a Travesty" can be heard on playlists of tuned-in DJs and podcasters across the globe.
In 2019 the band signed to Die Laughing Records and released the 3-song EP "Late Night Heart", followed by the punk rock holiday romp "Santa Had to Get a Day Job."

In connection with their musical offerings, The Carvels NYC released four videos during 2019 and 2020, working with director Melissa Kinsky (Cherry Pie Pictures).
The artwork of singer Lynne Von Pang plays a central role in the band aesthetic and has garnered rave reviews on its own merits, appearing in both the "Late Night Heart" and "Santa Had to Get a Day Job" videos as well as the cover art for all of their EPS and singles.
"The artwork (of the Carvels NYC) ... is top notch. I really dig this style!"
